Fanfic Author: Alex Checnkov

Homepage: http://www.fanfiction.net/~alexchecnkov

Formerly known as Alex Garg, I'll probably be an infrequent poster as the pressures
of the outside world are fast taking over my time. How much more time I'll have the
luxury to write anything creatively is uncertain, but I'll be trying my best for a
while longer.

September 2006: Well, life after graduation isn't exactly lending itself to writing
prolifically, and forgetting one's password also puts up a roadblock. I'll be
returning to the main arc in a week or two hopefully.

Ficlets

Camera Call Adriana squares off with Mr. Lee in defense of strengthening gargoyle-human relations. What good is primetime television if not for a debate? Well, lots of things, but I do not expect to script any sitcoms, dramas or reality TV for this saga. Fair notice: this is a bit heavy on the dialogue.

The Brothers Feud Malach fights his rival for the right to be mated to his love, but will he succeed? A ficbit leading into a fic note, consider this the unceremonious debut to my "Avignon Saga". Rated mostly (if not entirely) for details of the fight.

Just Dropping In After years of jogging in the park and coming across the gargoyles as stone, a flesh-and-blood encounter was bound to happen. A stand alone, random ficlet needed to overcome a pervasive writer's block; i.e., don't expect much more out of this than what it is. Warnings: An instance or two of tame profanity, mild violence and a first attempt at comedy following a months-long block. You've been aptly warned.

Project

Gargoyles Fanfiction Archive Study A short study of the Gargoyles Fanfiction Archive. Which year was the most active? How have things changed? Where is the archive headed? Started at the end of last year - this, friends, is what too much free time produces. Sorry for the repost: there is a readability issue I needed to address (a visual one, I'm aware of the dry nature of the narrative).
